In the name of Allah, who's got everything planned so perfectly;
let's not take anything for granted.Every single thing that happened has led us all to today and what's happening today, and whatever that might happen tomorrow. Every single moment that passed has brought us to this moment and is bringing us closer to the future. Nothing would be as it is now even if one second changes. Had we missed one second of anything that's happened, things would've been so much different. Not a second should be taken for granted. Good times or bad times, they have led us to where we are now. Good days or bad ones, they have all led us to how we view the world today. A bunch of good people or even some scumbags, they have all made us who we are today.
I've taken many things for granted, not many but they have caused me regretting about it everytime I recall. Every second that I took for granted by not looking at you when you're still so close to me, I regret. Every second that I took for granted by not spending time with my bestfriend, I regret. Every second that I took for granted by not staying by my grandma's side, I regret. Every second that I had to stay in bed for being ill and not being able to go to school, or I might have gotten myself better results, I regret. I regret ever having this illness. I regret I had to go to school the day before my grandma left or I would have gotten the chance to say goodbye. I regret every second of my life that I've not been a good daughter to my parents, a good friend, a good sister, a good student, a good girl. But had anything that I regret did not happen at all, things would be different, but it doesn't mean that my regrets will get any less, or any more. Make every second count, make everything count, because everything counts!
Everybody loves happy endings. We all hope to write our stories to such an ending someday. But what's important is not how our stories end, but it's how the stories go. In life, it's how we go through life to get to whatever the ending is. Happy or sad, a meaningful story will lead to a meaningful ending. Same goes with the lives we live. One second can go wrong, or even hundreds, but nothing can go wrong forever. We all have our strengths, faith, perseverance, and so much more that make up who we are, we have them all in us, just don't forget that we have them, and don't forget to use them. It's like walking in the dark with a torchlight, but not switching it on or forgetting that we even have one. Life's not a race, nor it is a game. So take your time, value each moment as you go, let's pretend we have all the time in the world so we won't miss out on anything, anything at all. Some things might have been different if some things that hasn't been done are done, some things that are done hasn't been done, or some things have been done differently. But nothing else than what's done can bring us to today. If you've spent quite some time regretting some things, well, it's about time to believe that everything happens for a reason, each path taken leads to more diverging paths so have faith in your choices; so that no matter how your journey turns out to be, you'll be proud of this journey of yours when you recall every moment once again in the end.
If you need some time to think back about the things you might have missed, take all the time you need. I'm sure it's going to be worth all the time you have in your life. Some people only come by chance, just like some things only happen once. Nothing's ever too late, it's just us who stopped trying.
